How to Jazz up a boring kitchen?

How to Jazz up a boring kitchen? This can be done in a multitude of ways! Learn about some of them by reading more.

Ah, there are SO MANY ways to do this. Strip and clean it out first. Look at what you’ve got and more importantly, what you actually need. Do you really think you need everything that it’s inside that space? If the answer is yes, you are fooling yourself.

And do you really think that you need everything visible? Again, see the comment above. I did a kitchen refresh last weekend and decided the blender was surplus to requirements on my countertop and would be perfectly happy in a cupboard until needed.

If you’ve got shelves or cupboards, take it all off and restyle them - this is a simple task but can totally change the look of your space. For me, the aim of my kitchen is to look ‘unkitcheny’: Plants, artwork, even a coat of fresh paint on the cupboards, all of these can up your game. And even though it’s a working space, don’t forget the textiles. A rug adds interest and texture - jute is a good choice or go for an indoor/outdoor rug which can be hosed down if your family is prone to dropping stuff . Just because it’s a kitchen doesn’t mean that you can’t treat it just like any other room in your home - mix contemporary and vintage and express yourself rather than a kitchen showroom.
